The SAFE Plan™

for Aging Parents

A simple step-by-step framework that helps adult children prepare their parents’ home, health, and future before a crisis happens.

My vision is for fewer “we wish we’d talked about this sooner” moments and more “we’ve got this” peace of mind.

Most families think they have time to figure things out later. Until a hospital call changes everything.

The SAFE Plan shows you what to organize, what to ask, and what systems to put in place so your family is prepared, calm, and protected.

77% of adults want

Most familes are forced into decision making during crisis

What I wish I had known...

My parents were in their 60s, living "healthy", and doing the best they knew how. After losing them both unexpectedly a year apart, I wish we would've had more conversations about their wishes, where things were, and overall condition of their home, health, and finances. We didn't know what we didn't know and while consumed with grief, had a lot to learn and navigate through.

I got so many questions from my friends and friend's parents about what happens next and I realized my loss should be more families gain.

There are so many PROACTIVE things you can do, questions you should ask, and things you should get done LONG before any kind of crisis or trauma hits.

Take PROACTIVE action and make choices and decisions before you are forced to!

About Nicole

Turning my pain into passion, I founded Your Parent Porter after losing both of my parents within a year of each other and realizing how many small, preventable choices affect our ability to live well as we age and all the things I never thought to ask before losing them too soon. As a licensed real estate agent, not only did I experience first hand what it's like to have to deal with my family's home in another state, not knowing the market, home values, and issues other states experiences, I see many people struggle with their families home in Arizona the same way.

There are many things parents and kids need to proactively discuss and plan LONG before an emergency or tragedy happens, but we know all too well, that parents don't want to listen to their children. Your Parent Porter was designed to be an unbiased 3rd party to bridge that gap and take the stress off families.

Originally from Michigan and now based in metro Phoenix, I'm a Gen X entrepreneur on a mission to change how families support aging loved ones, from a place of proactivity, not crisis. My goal is simple yet powerful: to help people make caring, informed choices today so they can age with confidence, dignity, and peace of mind tomorrow.

I attended Michigan State University and graduated from Oakland University with a B.S. in Business Management. I've spent many years in the hospitality industry, honoring my passion to serve others and deliver exceptional experiences. I became a licensed real estate agent to help other's escape the unpredictable weather in other parts of the country and find a life they LOVE in sunny AZ. Obsessed with growth and personal development, I encourage people to chase their dreams and live each day as if it's their last. I'm a dog

mom, motorcycle rider, sports enthusiast and finally a world traveler.
